Quiring Monuments, Inc. is the parent company of Monuments.com and the sole provider of Living Headstones™ internet connected memorials.  Located in Seattle, Washington, our family has been in the memorial business for four generations.

Customer Service 
Our specialty is one-of-a-kind memorialization for cemeteries, gardens or public locations.  The Quiring design consultant team includes custom memorial designers, graphic artists, sculptors and other specialty craftspeople working in a state-of-the-art production facility.

Each memorial design request is unique and we feel that each finished monument should reflect that individuality in a special way. 

Design
We design and produce the widest variety of headstones, tombstones, and grave markers possible. This is achieved by using different colored granites, shapes, textures and finishes and combining them with high-quality graphic art, lettering, portraiture, hand carving, etching, bronze bas-relief attachments, and full round sculptures. 

Bringing degrees in graphic arts, design and fine arts, our artists have many years of experience with the tools, techniques and materials of our trade. Quiring artists and designers have recently won all of the most prestigious international design awards given by the memorial industry.  Here are just a few of our awards and recognitions: 

• The Biondan Trophy (in 1998 & again in 2000), given by the Monument Builders of North America to the winner of the Grand Award in the design contest they hold every two years.  

• The Eugene H. Faehnle, FAICA Trophy (in 1997) given by the American Institute of Commemorative Art to the winner of their annual design contest.

• Seattle Mayor’s Small Business Award in recognition of achievements in business and community relations in 1999 and we were selected to be included in The History Channel’s documentary Modern Marvels – Cemeteries.

Manufacturing
Our long standing relationships with many monument designers, major granite quarries and a wide variety of cemetery and funeral professionals can help make the whole process of memorialization easier and with less chance of error for you. We are one of only a few retail companies with its own nationally known designers on staff. And unlike most retail companies, we also have our own manufacturing (sawing, shaping and polishing) capabilities.   We keep most of the standard sizes, shapes and finishes in stock at all times, so your memorial can be produced quickly, efficiently, and beautifully.

Quiring Monuments is the only Northwest member of the American Institute of Commemorative Art.
