Shipping and Warranty

Shipping

Quiring can ship monuments anywhere in the world. If your shipping address is outside of our delivery team’s range, we’ll ship your memorial with a shipping carrier. Those memorials are normally shipped via truck freight, but some items under 100 pounds can be shipped via UPS.

Contact us for expedited shipping and other special arrangements. Extra costs may be incurred.

The size of the memorial, as well as the weight and the distance it is shipped will determine the cost. Memorials from our website are shipped freight prepaid so the shipping cost within the United States is included in the price!

The prices you see on our website do not include the cost of installation. Some cemeteries will have staff members who are able to install the memorial. Other times they may contract with another company for setting. Many cemeteries will have fees for installation and endowment care that you will pay directly to them. Check with them to find out what those charges might be.

Most cemeteries will probably require payment in full before accepting delivery of a memorial. When you check with them about their rules and regulations, verify when the payment has to be made. It may be possible to pay them as soon as you order the memorial.

Yes. Our consultants will request the complete shipping address, and the resident’s name and contact information for shipping confirmation purposes.

We’ll let you know when the memorial was shipped, the name of the carrier, and an ETA. You should also receive a delivery notification.

Inspect the memorial for damage immediately upon uncrating. Sign the delivery receipt and make sure you get a copy.

Although we create a memorial to ensure a safe delivery to its destination, the rare possibility exists that damage can happen. If it does, we ask that you check for damages before accepting delivery from the shipping company and that any damages are noted on the bill of lading and photographed. Please contact us immediately— before installation— with the photos & bill of lading so we can file a claim promptly. The window for filing a claim is usually less than 15 days.

All merchandise should remain in the original shipping container in the same condition as when the damage was discovered until the shipping company can perform an inspection.

Warranty

Upon the purchase of your memorial, you may receive a certificate proving that your memorial is manufactured from the finest quality stone and will not contain hidden flaws that would make it susceptible to cracking or disintegration due to climate or season.

We will further certify that the carving and workmanship are of the highest quality.

You will have our guarantee to replace or repair, free of all expense to the original purchaser, or to the heirs or representative of the estate of the person(s) memorialized, any stone part of the memorial that may crack or disintegrate due to the effects of climate or season.

PLEASE NOTE: Our warranty does not cover damage or staining resulting from neglect or damage by cemetery personnel, acts of war or civil disturbance, sudden destructive weather conditions and natural disasters, or discoloration for any reason. In the event of any work done on this memorial by another entity after installation, this Limited Warranty becomes null and void. This Limited Warranty may also be subject to separate requirements on us imposed by state law.
