Mt. Olivet Cemetery

The historic Mt. Olivet Cemetery is located in Renton, Washington. It is home to the graves of many early Renton settlers. Houser, Dobson, Wood, Custer, Shearer, and McKnight are a few of the common names. Mt. Olivet  Cemetery is still active and is currently accepting burials. It has grown from a community cemetery to one that meets modern needs while also retaining our historic core and character. Mt. Olivet has sections in the cemetery with citizens from all over the world including Chinese, Vietnamese, European, Hispanic, Native American, African American, Pacific Islands, Ukraine, Belarus, and Russia, with appropriate monuments and memorials honoring these citizens.
